Trinity is a renowned independent co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 3 to 18 years. It is located in the idyllic Teignmouth, Devon, one of the most beautiful parts of the UK, offering spectacular views over its bay in a safe nurturing environment.
The Headmaster Robert Robinson has a wealth of experience in high-level HMC Schools and uniquely has a wealth of knowledge in helping athletes achieve academic success alongside elite sport.
Trinity has received excellent from its ISI school inspection for pastoral support and has a reputation for producing outstanding academic results. The Sunday Times voted Trinity as the ‘Best Non-Selective School in Devon’ according to the Top Independent Schools List. Trinity achieved 50% A*/A at A level (or equivalent), 98.5%. Trinity offers a wide variety of GCSE, A-Level and BTEC Diploma options. Players will have bespoke support to catch up with any school work missed due to playing commitments.

The programme gives players the opportunity to access competitive golf within both a club and league environment. With links to some of the finest clubs across the UK, golfers will be exposed to high-quality tournament experiences as well as golf tours.
Our academy is linked with Teignmouth Golf Club and players will have regular access to the course, as well as access to club competitions. We introduce players to county squads and support elite amateur competitions.

We take some of the most exciting cultural tours to the best golf destinations in the UK and abroad.

Substantial investments in world-class indoor facilities have been made. An artificial, indoor short-game area will provide students with the best possible advantage in their golf career, as well as multiple TrackMan simulator areas to support performance.
Future-proofed facilities, including a strength and conditioning suite and a breakout room for data analysis.

All resources are available for players and parents to see on our innovative online player hub that gives access to a player’s progress with real time data.
Every player receives an Individual Development Plan (IDP), which gives agreed termly targets for the 4 corners of elite performance: Technical, Tactical, Psychological and Bio-psychosocial.
The sport science team perform regular fitness tests to ensure we are monitoring a player’s physical development.
We have termly parent meetings to discuss a player’s progress and achievement. We give season reports to allow goal setting for futures years.

Players will all receive 4-6 sessions per week.
We follow a syllabus of weekly themes specific to an individual’s position.
The week will be comprised of an IDP focus session, technical and tactical sessions combined with strength & conditioning (gym) for physical development and injury prevention (supplemented by a triage service with our physiotherapist if required).
We offer sports psychology through our mental performance coach who delivers 1:1, small group and workshop sessions.
Boarders are offered extra strength & conditioning sessions in the evenings and Saturday morning technical sessions.

We are selective as we want to ensure all players have a similar mindset, ability and goal in reaching their full potential.

We will then invite you for a trial session or we can assess players through video footage.
Trinity independent school only offers scholarships for outstanding players. We assess this based on the player’s current and prior performance.
